Graphic has all of the tools you need to create everything from detailed technical illustrations to beautiful works of art. I hear NYC animators complaining about this frequently (and DOF:D).Graphic is a powerful feature-packed vector drawing and illustration application for macOS. The “sequence sorter” plugin is great, but this really should be a no-brainer for Maxon to implement. Just to be able to easily drag an image sequence folder into After Effects without a AE file would be a dream. For the love of Mograph, Maxon, make an option for multipasses to collect into their respective folders and generate links with the After Effects file generated. Navstar has a great point, on Macs it’s highly annoying to move around or navigate within folders containing massive numbers of images. I know there is the permissions workaround/hack, but I’m getting major ‘workaround’ fatigue with C4D. Long and tedious but a solution.Īnd regardless of what format people prefer for output, this is a nasty bug with NetRender that should be addressed by Maxon. You lose the object buffers/depth passes because they are channels, but they are quick to regenerate. Ultimately I was able to select all the B3D files after opening in C4D picture viewer (it doesn’t see them as a sequence), export to layered PSDs, then use GraphicConverter to break out all the layers into individual files, then use Renamer4Mac to set their numbers/names right. Most of the time I use image sequences, in this particular instance another animator set off a Netrender and it was a Quicktime movie that we needed to salvage from.
